

I note there was a planned outage on the 11th November for several hours that effected AC Valhalla but the issue has been consistent all day on the 12 and so far this morning on the 13th. They eventually told me to contact Ubisoft support (who I haven’t been able to get hold of in my region).

I contacted Microsoft who took me through a number of steps from uninstalling the game, clearing caches, removing my profile, down to resetting the Xbox. The error number (0x8b050033) indicates Xbox server issue although the Xbox service status was green. Updates and downloads of other games work okay and I seem to have enough space for the patch and game. For my first attempt I tried the normal insert disc and accept upgrade, but I’ve tried to install from disc while offline then install the patch after. I am told the game needs an upgrade/update first but it fails almost instantly.
