Like you say, it's a little confused now with S5 on something that wants to be shooting at light armor, but it's not really cost prohibitive and can add a lot of anti infantry punch. It's also a fast tank, so you can move and still shoot everything.
Tank Hunter on the accelerator AC is sick! >Like you said just go merc light armor with it (looking at you Wave Serprents!) I'd also be tempted buy Schism of Mars on a barebones Sicaran. I think it's pretty awesome anyway you run it. I believe it's armor is 13/12/12 now though.
